FAQ
 

What do I bring?

A: You should bring a towel or 2, sunscreen, bug spray,  your food, drinks, and your good attitude. You will need your driver's license to check in, a form of payment, your AANR or TNS card, if applicable and the phone number of an emergency contact. We accept cash, check, cards

How many people will be there?

A: I wish we knew the answer to that! There are 16 residents here and the number of day visitors and campers depends on the weather.

What do I NOT bring?

A: Fireworks, unrelated minors, your ugly attitude, your sexual comments, and glass. 

​

What do I do when I arrive?

A: If you have a campsite reservation or are coming for a day visit, you will call when you arrive at the gate to be let in, and then proceed to the office to finish checking in.

Can I wear my clothing?

A: Hidden Lake Resort is a nudist resort, not a clothing-optional resort. Everyone is expected to be nude while visiting our grounds. We are an AANR-affiliated resort, therefore, we do not allow or support the swinging lifestyle. We do cover up for cold weather and job tasks.

Is there WI-FI available?

A: Yes, we have Starlink internet on site and you can get the password at check-in.

​

What if I get sexually aroused?

A: While it is not common for men to get sexually aroused in public, it does happen. A jump in the shower or the lagoon, or a temporary cover-up with a towel would be appropriate.

Are singles allowed?

A: Yes, we do allow singles. Your behavior is the determining factor, not your marital status or sex. If you are respectful and have common sense, you are welcome here.

Do I need reservations?

A: You do not need reservations for a day visit. You will call when you get to the gate. A phone call or message is necessary to the office for a reservation for a campsite, tent, or the cabin rental. We do not have an online reservation system.

Will I encounter children?

A: We are an AANR-affiliated property, so there may be children here with their parents. It is the parents responsibility to supervise their children. Those that are under 21, require an adult companion for a day visit or campsite.

Do we allow alcohol and legal drugs on the property?

A: Although we do not have a bar or restaurant on the property, we do allow our guests to bring their own alcohol, as long as it is not in a glass container. All alcohol and legal drug use must be done so responsibly.

What time is check-in and check-out for the campsites and cabin rental? What are the times for a day visit? 

A: You may arrive anytime after 8:30 AM on the day of check-in and stay until dark on the day of check-out. We give you the extra time to enjoy our facilities when you arrive and the day you leave. Day visitors may arrive anytime after 8:30 AM and stay until dusk. You may be invited to evening activities if there are any planned the day you are here.
